Ecstasies Unrevealed

She waited for him to begin. She knew what to expect, he'd been singing for her since a long time now. Still, every time he sang, it seemed like it was the first time & she fell in love with him all over again.
Silence.
He started humming as he adjusted his guitar. Finally, he hit the first note.
Melody.
She smiled as his strong voice fell on her ears, mixed with the music he played on his guitar. Her heart reacted to his voice and started to beat faster. She couldn't help it. He looked so innocent, so lost, so into it! So breathtaking, so vulnerable, so totally hers!
She took in his posture for what seemed the millionth time. He sat on the floor, his back resting against the wall, one leg straight while the other one slightly up, the thigh supporting his guitar. His bitten nails, which hardly existed, looked perfect on the frets and his fingers created magic. The other hand strummed the guitar with perfection. His cheekbones, his light stubble, his short hair, his glasses, his brown eyes behind the glasses. She loved it. She loved him. Him, lost in his music. Him, all the time. Just him!
His voice rose, her cheeks flushed. He was there in front of her, only physically. His soul was somewhere else, he was someone else. She sighed and swayed, as if he made her do it. She was in a trance & he owned her. They both knew it.
He lowered his voice as he ended the song. A whisper, so low, she felt if she dared to breathe, she'd ruin the ending.
He looked at her then.
She got up, walked to him and sat on her knees in front of him. She kissed his forehead, took off his glasses and softly kissed both his eyes.
"Perfect", she said.
He smiled.
"But I've heard better...!"
Laughter erupted, breaking through the silence as he took her in his arms and tickled her...
