I stared at him with poise as I presented the challenge. He scratched his chin with his left hand and took another puff of cigarette.
I just stared at him.I liked the stubble on his face. It was very sexy.
I waited.
He held my gaze as he slowly walked backwards, out of my apartment, out of my life.
"I love you too much to stay with you and hurt you so..."
